Bullying Prevention 101: A Look at the Basics of Bullying Prevention
This special session is being provided for those professionals who have no prior experience in implementing a bullying prevention program within a school. Attendees with learn the fundamentals of bullying, consequences and prevention.
Friday, October 5th
Tackling the Difficult Issues: Taking Action for Success
Step beyond the basics in this full-day session that delves into the deeper issues of bullying prevention including: emotional violence, cyberbullying and the steps for intervention.

Stand Up! Speak Out!
Student Forum
This session is designed to involve teens and equip them with the tools needed to act as change agents in their schools. The session will include an interactive workshop directed by Dr. Jeff Parker, a researcher in the fields of child development and peer relationships, and a presentation by the TeenAngels group of WiredSafety.org.
Learn How Students Qualify
Bullying generally begins in the elementary grades, peaks in the sixth through eighth grades, and persists into high school.
